XCeption Twitter Space – XCeption Weekly AMA

In this XCEPT Community weekly twitter space, the team takes the time to explain recent developments, the launch stage the protocol is in, and more.

Background

  • Ser PT (Guest) – CEO of XCeption
  • XCeption – first operational MEV bot

XCeption Past Week

  • Alpha testers have been sharing MEV results, and what kinds of profits they are making.
  • Currently, the team is receiving some data from their internal data scientist, as previous data was preliminary.
  • MEV rewards which have been earned by users total 2.55 $ETH in the past 7 days; this is with less than 2 dozen DAU (daily active users).
  • The team notes that different users have different levels of activity, with some hardcore users utilizing all the tools available to them.
  • The router has collected 0.63 ETH from 163 ETH in volume in the past 7 days, around ~$600k since beta opening.
  • During Alpha testing, which spanned from mid-December to early March, was between ~$900k – ~$1M.

Onboarding Efforts

  • The team is looking to maintain an increase a high volume per DAU.
  • ~50 new users are onboarded per day, with the idea being to stagger questions and support efforts so that there isn’t a large influx of inquiries all at once.
  • The community can also help with onboarding efforts as it pertains to getting users up to speed.
  • The batch amount will be increased in the following weeks, from the 50 per day quota.
  • When the team runs through the current list of waiting participants, they’ll open up the platform without the waitlist that is currently implemented.
  • When a user is onboarded, the activation process begins with a push notification going through to the user.

New Developments

  • The XCeption sniper tool is also being tested in order for it to be prepared for the public launch which will be happening soon.
  • Ser PT notes that  sniper tool is far along in development, it’s able to snipe new tokens there are just some setting which need to be tweaked according to data. This includes max slippage, max wallet balance, max transaction value, etc.
  • A lot of success seen with Banana Gun comes from bribes from protocols, which XCEPT could replicate with a strong community.
  • Ser PT notes that one bot being faster than another isn’t necessarily because of telegram’s tech, but rather because of sniping transactions being bundled together.
  • When all things are equal, Ser PT believes they have an edge over other tools because XCEPT includes an MEV tool. This can make XCEPT’s bundles more attractive, but the ecosystem needs to be scaled.
  • Telegram bot users are looking for convenience but also for fast transactions, they do want to be first, so this aspect is important.
